Many rural hospitals in developing countries have no feeding program for their patients. Atoifi Hospital in Solomon Islands was one of them.

Call to Action:

Waves Of Mercy International has been involved with starting a community garden at a remote hospital in Solomon Islands. The hospital had no kitchen when we arrived, but now has a functioning kitchen and a trained Dietician is on staff. Our contributions in the kitchen were the purchase of an industrial stove, flooring and wages for a carpenter. Patients are now getting some assistance but there is still much more work to do.
